Slim, mini and round cans: a physical format guide for brands
Established oral pouch brands provide recognizable examples of shallow circular cans and slim or mini fiber pouch formats.

Use a real physical reference
Established oral pouch brands provide recognizable examples of shallow circular cans and slim or mini fiber pouch formats. ZYN and VELO product photographs inform the physical proportions of the concepts on this site. The reference concerns shape and construction; HerbalPouches products use their own identity and do not imply an affiliation.
A size label is not a drawing
Slim and mini are useful format descriptions, but they are not a universal dimensional standard. Ask for the length, width, fill weight, seal construction and tolerances of the actual proposed pouch. A smaller pouch does not automatically mean a smaller active amount. Define the physical and analytical specification separately.
Confirm what the can actually includes
A flat circular lid, rim, catch compartment and tamper feature should be checked against the actual tooling rather than assumed from a render. Discuss the can material, dimensions, lid fit and label area. A packaging concept can show a familiar form while the final manufactured part still needs a drawing and sample approval.
Approve the assembly as a system
Evaluate the filled pouch inside the proposed can, the lid fit, the label finish and the secondary carton together. Check legibility and batch-code placement. Keep the approved can drawing and artwork revision beside the product specification so later changes do not pass unnoticed.
Use this in your project brief
- Identify which decisions are approved and which still need review.
- Keep the formula, pack, testing and quotation versions connected.
- Assign a responsible reviewer before an unresolved assumption becomes a label or order requirement.
